Meaning

Asks for the direction to a place.

Examples

• John: Excuse me, <b>which way is</b> the train station?
• Alice: Go straight ahead, then turn left at the second traffic light.
• John: Thank you!
• Alice: You're welcome! Make sure you don't miss the right turn, because it would be hard to ask somebody else again, <b>which way is</b> the train station from there.
